Sunday:
Review letters and VOWELS  This may involve having students write in Hebrew syllables you dictate, so they are thinking of Hebrew sounds. for instance call out No, Go, Show,  New,  Two,  Noon, Dot,  Rot, Meal. . . Bed. . . etc. Maroon, Cartoon. (to use the Shva). 
Review the meaning of the 6 words of the "brachah formula."  When they have reviewed, check them by asking them to write what "Barch hamelech" would mean, and "Eloheinu Adonai"  or other meaningful combinations of the 6 words.

Homework:
Miss Ben Moshe: Dark green book- page 36, read the 6 lines at the bottom TWICE.

Ms. Cohen:
1) If you don't know your Hebrew name, find out what it is and bring the information to the next class.
2) In the light green book- page 64: read and write on a piece of paper the words 3 times. And using  page 34, write the "blessing formula" on that same piece of paper.
3) Ask a parent to sign the paper.
